What to expect
As a Physical Therapist, I take a holistic approach to treatment. On your first visit you can expect a thorough 90 minute evaluation. This will include a review of your medical history and why you are seeking treatment. I will spend time assessing your posture, breathing, core strength, lower body strength, and flexibility. If comfortable, I will perform an internal evaluation of the pelvic floor. This gives me great insight into what is happening within the pelvic floor and how I can best treat your concerns.
Follow up therapy sessions will be 60 minutes in length, and may incorporate a variety of techniques including but not limited to: manual therapy, strength training, core stabilization, breath re-education, bladder re-education, postural training and stretching.
As a Reiki practitioner, I often begin each treatment with a brief scan of your chakras and meridians in order to gain insight into your energy flow.
I use Reiki to improve the flow and balance of your energy to support healing and wellness.
Additional Reiki treatment can be added into any follow up therapy session. See more about Reiki and my offerings below.
